OUTPUT OUTPUT objects are actually XPUT objects with the predefined OUTPUT text label. OUTPUT objects may be configured as inputs or outputs during target code execution. This is a physical property of the real CPU, so adding a restriction here would be counter productive. See the description of INPUT objects for further information.
